Mopane box with African Blackwood upper pagoda and boxwood in the
slotting on the upper drum and flame finial of amboyna burl. The
box is ornamented in a basketwork spiral pattern of 30 rows of 20
cuts with the 0.050" square cutter making a total of 600
separate cuts. The drum of the upper pagoda is pierced with a
slotting cutter exposing a layer of boxwood between the blackwood
which highlights the opening. The roof is fluted.
