An Indian wood called angie is used for this box with African
Blackwood for the upper pagoda and pink ivory for the cut-out
work and the onion-shaped finial. The box is ornamented with a
basketwork pattern cut with the 0.050" square cutter with 25
rows of 24 cuts for a total of 600 separate cuts arranged in a
pattern of 3-V's. The drum on the upper pagoda is cut through
exposing the pink ivory below and the roof is finely fluted.
