Rose Disc Series Box Gallery 4
These small, flat boxes
have rose engine patterns on top and inside the lids, a small rose insignia
pattern on the bottom and a variety of patterns on the sides. They are
reminiscent of antique snuff boxes in shape and size. Each is a one-of-a-kind
piece, and they have been crafted from a variety of woods and synthetic
materials. Gallery 4 consists of pieces made of synthetic materials.
The acrylic pieces
are a pearlescent blend used in the first three pieces. The tortoise and
horn are polyester compounds manufactured in England to serve as substitutes
for animal products, tortoise shell and water buffalo horn. The thumbnail
index is organized from right to left in each row with views of the top,
side, bottom and inside of lid for a single box. Click any thumbnail image
to see a larger view on the right. There is a contact
form to follow up on price and availability of any pieces of interest.
