x 4"H)Cocobolo box with African Blackwood upper pagoda inlaid with boxwood with boxwood flame finial. The box is ornamented with 2.5 cycles of a sinusoidal wave pattern. Slotting cutters of differing diameters were used to create the pierced openings on the drum of the upper pagoda, the roof of which is fluted.
