x 4 5/8"H)This perfume bottle is made of Pernambuco and African Blackwood. The base has an "open twist" design in which a blackwood core is exposed by cutting through the pernambuco surface layer in a spiral pattern. A blackwood trim ring forms the transition from the base to the dome while the pernambuco dome is capped with a fluted skirt and a finial of blackwood topped with an onion-shaped pernambuco finial tip. An improved O-ring coupler securely holds the glass bottle liner in the base, yet allows for easy removal to fill with fragrance.
