Tulipwood "Bullet" Perfume Bottle
[PB17]
(Size: 1 3/8"D x 4"H)
This rather modernistic design uses Brazilian tulipwood, a rosewood, with African blackwood trim and an Amboyna burl bullet-shaped finial. There is a pattern of five sine waves cut with the reciprocator apparatus on the base. The African Blackwood trim bands are slotted to give a dentil-molding effect. The dome is spherical and exhibits the beautiful rose and straw-toned figure of this rosewood. An improved O-ring coupler securely holds the glass bottle liner in the base, yet allows for easy removal to fill with fragrance.
